    Connecting to a Windows PC shared printer

    1. System Preferences > Print & Fax
    2. Add (+)
    3. Hold down ALT/OPTION and click on More Printer
    4. Advanced, Windows Printer via Samba
    5. enter: smb://username:password@server_ip/resource

    oDrag Applications folder from Finder (from Harddrive into Right side dock) for easy access to your applications
    oUnsaved documents in an application is shown as a filled dot in the close button (much like a red radio/option button)


    Screen saver on desktop

    To have the screensaver appear on your desktop (very cool) enter the following:
    /System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Resources/ScreenSaverEngine.app/Contents/MacOS/ScreenSaverEngine
    -background &
    To stop kill the pid. (If screensaver is normally activated will also kill it on the desktop.
